FuncCAD

FuncCAD is a dataset containing synthetically generated CAD-models. The geometry of the models have functional purpose. The CAD-models have been generated using Autodesk Inventor and their file format is IPT. Additionally all CAD-models are available in STEP-format. To add context information about the CAD-models, a JSON-file exists for each CAD-model. The JSON- and CAD-files have an identical name (aside from the file-ending). The JSON-files include information about design history and included features. Information about the features contains the feature-name, CAD-operations, which were used to create that feature, axis information if it is a rotationally symmetrical feature and shaft sections if it is a shaft.
