Example code for virtual sensing for strain estimation on tower structures

Displacement and strain estimation implementation for a laboratory steel cantilever beam by Thurn et al. (doi: 10.5194/wes-2026-5). To perform the strain estimation implementation, additional data from the publicly accessible data repository of Leibniz University of Hannover (doi: 10.25835/lyav246d) is used.
